Remote Volunteer Accommodation

Visitor accommodation for conservation volunteers.

This building will provide overnight accommodation in this hard-to-reach sanctuary. After a day’s work volunteers can relax over a meal together, sit around the fire and enjoy the nighttime calls of kiwi. The building can also accommodate research scientists who stay for longer periods.

Sills van Bohemen undertook this project as part of our 2018 pro bono community works programme.
Further announcements on this project are expected in 2020, along with a fundraising campaign.
